The day of the dedication was a very windy and dusty day. We are waiting for the Provincial Governor's arrival.
When we arrived...the morning of January 5, 2007, the kids were already lined up. It was a very windy and dusty day but they stood like this for nearly two hours.
The older kids wearing a red armband were the monitors charged with keeping the lines straight, and the kids behaving. Note the little girl in the red yawning. She's probably wishing she could be home in bed. My favorite is the little girl in the front row standing at attention.
This little girl stood at attention like this for more than an hour.
We were pleasantly surprised by all the banners and signs in our honor.

As the dedication ceremony began, we stood for the Cambodia National Anthem.
We sat among various dignitaries from the Provincial Education Office and other government agencies.
